Reflexology focuses on the pressure points in the feet which correspond to different parts of the body and internal organs.

Hot stones heighten the benefits of a foot reflexology treatment. It is estimated that one stroke of a hot stone is worth five strokes with the hand. The heat relaxes the body to its deepest level and is effective in creating harmony and balance. Hot stones have been shown to lower cortisol levels and calm the parasympathetic nervous system, thereby reducing stress. Smooth basalt stones are warmed to a safe temperature and are used to massage the legs before treatment begins on the feet and then different sized stones are used to penetrate specific reflex points.

To begin with, it is recommended that a course of 5-10 treatments are taken on a weekly or fortnightly basis (depending on the reason for treatment) and thereafter, once the body has been brought back into balance, monthly treatments should be booked for maintenance and prevention.

After the treatment, you will be given a thorough explanation of any findings and aftercare advice to reinforce the healing benefits between sessions.

Face reflexology aims to restore and rebalance the body, to reduce stress and pain, and to encourage the body to self-heal. Facial reflexology has the added benefit of leaving the skin looking and feeling smoother. If anti-ageing is a concern, Zone Face Lift (ZFL) would be worth considering as it is a longer face reflexology treatment which uses focuses on lifting and sculpting using a variety of facial tools and crystals. Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique which uses gentle hand movements across the body's main Chakras to reduce stress and promote healing. It is a safe and effective hands-on healing treatment radiating from the practitioner's hands. It is used as an alternative therapy for the treatment of physical, emotional and mental conditions. Reiki helps you feel deeply relaxed, relieves emotional stress and tension as well as improving your well-being. It works by maximising the flow of energy around the body by unblocking sites of an old or new injury, trauma or emotion, focusing on the body's main Chakras located at the front of the spinal column.
